Calvin Caron

As an acoustic and electric bassist Calvin Caron has spent much of his musical life in pursuit of meaningful spiritual experiences. Whether it be the strong connection that forms with colleagues on the bandstand or getting lost in the music of others. He believes honesty, love and supporting others are of the utmost importance. Calvin wants to portray these values both as a  musician and in social life away from music.

Under the guidance of Ryan Frane, Joey Petit and Gordon Lewis, Calvin Caron spent formative years honing his craft of bass playing at the University of Minnesota Duluth, graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies degree in May 2022. Throughout the college years, Calvin did his best to immerse himself in a multitude of different musical opportunities and styles on the Duluth and greater Minnesota scene.
